1. Manager (Law): 16 posts
2. Manager (Economist): 02 pots
3. Deputy Manager (Economist): 02 posts
4. Deputy Manager (Security): 30 posts
5. Assistant Manager (Systems): 100 posts
6. Assistant Manager (Law): 15 posts
7. Permanent Part Time Medical Officer: 41 posts.
Age limit: The candidate’s age limit is maximum 35 years for the posts of Manager (Law), Manager (Economist), Deputy Manager (Security) and Permanent Part Time Medical Officer, maximum 30 years for the posts of Deputy Manager (Economist), Assistant Manager (Systems) and Assistant Manager (Law) as on 01/06/2011, relaxation as per Govt rules.
Educational qualification: Candidates see the advertisement for more details of educational qualification and experience.
Application fee: Candidate pay the fee in the form of cash voucher for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates, paid at any branch of State Bank of India from 06/06/2011 to 27/06/2011.
Selection process: The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written test followed by interview.
How to apply: The qualified and interested candidates have to apply through online from the www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in websites between 08/06/2011 to 30/06/2011. The candidates at the time of online follow the user guidelines and instructions.
Instructions for online apply:
1. Candidates have to apply through online from the www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in websites between 08/06/2011 to 30/06/2011.
2. Before apply online, candidates first download the fee payment cash voucher from the Banks website and paid the fee in any branch of State Bank of India from 06/06/2011 to 27/06/2011.
3. Obtain the duplicate copy of the cash voucher duly receipted by the branch and ensure that this receipt contains a) Journal Number b) Branch Name c) Branch Code No d) Date of Deposit e) Amount.
4. Candidates should have valid e-mail ID because that bank informs the information through e-mail, before applying online.
5. Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature, before apply online.
6. Candidates to revisit the banks website and open the appropriate online application format.
7. Candidates fill the application carefully and fill the fee payment details at the appropriate places.
8. After filling all the details of online application candidates are required to submit the online application.
9. Candidates once submit the online application a register no and password will be generated by the system, candidates please note the registered no and password for future use.
10. After successfully submission of online application, candidates take a print out of the online application form immediately.
11. The print out of the application form should be send it along with the original fee receipt and photo copies of all necessary certificates, to the following address by ordinary post only, on or before 07/07/2011, Post Box No. 7480, Jogeshwari (East), Mumbai-400060.
