Actor Bala Krishna Into Politics

Nandamuri Balakrishna has been star campaigner for Telugu Desam party. He actively campaigned for the party in the last general elections. But he made it clear that he'd jump into active politics in 2014.Talking to reporters in Anantapur on Sunday, September 11, 2011, he announced: "I will even contest from one of the assembly constituencies in the next general elections."
But he will continue doing movies till then. "Currently, I am working on two films - Parachuri Murali's film and B Gopal - Bellamkonda movie, both of them would hit the screens next year. Sri Ramarajyam is ready for release," he added.
Just prior to the last elections, megastar Chiranjeevi jumped into politics and floated a party on his own and later he merged the party into ruling Congress Party. So now another top star is stepping into Andhra Pradesh politics.
