1. Officer Scale – 1: 70 vacancies
2. Clerical Cadre: 108 vacancies
Age limit: For the post of Officer Scale, above 18 years but below 26 years, for the post of Clerk Cadre, between 18 years and 26 years as on 31/01/2011, Reservation for ST/ST/OBC/PWD/EXS as per rules.
Educational Qualification: For the post of Officer Scale – 1, Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent, for the post of Clerk Cadre, Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent (OR) pass in Higher Secondary School Examination/Pre Degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum 50% marks (OR) pass with 60% marks in Matriculation/SSC.
Pay Scale:
For Officer Scale-1: 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20110-800/7- 25700.
For Clerk Cadre: 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-
17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.
Application Fee: Application fee must pay in the form of challan Rs 300/- (GEN/OBC candidates), Rs 50/- (For SC/ST/PWD/EXS category) paid at any branches of Canara Bank.
Selection procedure: The mode of selection is through written test/interview basis.
How to apply: The interested candidates have to apply through online from 05/04/2011 to 28/04/2011. The candidates follow the instruction and user guidelines at the time registration of the online application. After successfully submitted by the online application candidates take two copies of application print outs, a copy of the print out with the recent photograph of the candidate duly pasted on the application and submitted at the time of interview. They should not send this print out to the bank.
