Buxom beauty Anushka, who is busy heroine in Tollywood and Kollywood has bagged another big offer. As per the sources Anushka has signed a new film under the direction of Mani Ratnam, which is a bilingual film.
Earlier Chitrmala informed that Prince Mahesh Babu is going to act in a historical film to be directed by Mani Ratnam which will make in Tamil and Telugu languages. Now Anushka has been roped for the female lead role in this film. For this film Anushka has allotted bulk dates also. The film has Mahesh Babu, Vijay and Arya in lead roles.
As per the sources Vijay will play the role of Vallavarayan Vandiyatheyan, Mahesh Babu is likely to play King Aditha Karikalan. The role of Arulmozhi Varman (who later becomes Raja Raja Chozha), which was initially slated to be done by Vikram, will now be played by Arya.
The film is based on Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan that deals with the life and times of Raja Raja Chola. This project will be produced by Kalanidhi Maran of Sun Pictures and Music will be composed by Ilayaraja.
As per the reports presently the movie Pre-production works are going on and the movie will go to on sets in the month of October. This is going to be the high budget film
