Rating: 2.5/5
It is:
Much anticipated movie by Gopichand’s fans which does not meet the expectation levels of the spectators, routine story line without anything unique to look out for.
Plot:
Rambabu (Gopichand) has been coddled by his parents (Chandramohan and Jayasudha) to an extent where they encourage him to stay idle instead of working since they feel that they already have so much only for their son to spend it.
Incidentally he comes across Nandini (Deeksha Seth), a house surgeon who has a mysterious past which forces her to adopt a covert mission that includes something about vengeance against the goon Basava raju (Prakash Raj).
Even after several attempts by Rambabu to woo Nandini, she does not seem to care much for anything else apart from the revenge against Basava raju. Finally frustrated with her, Rambabu asks her what he has to do so that he can get her approval. Nandini tells him to avenge her family’s death on behalf of her from Basava raju. The rest of the story is all about the incidents which happen between Basava raju and troubles he gets to face from Rambabu.
What’s good?
Action stunts performed by Gopichand are said to the better part of the movie. Story though routine is good enough to keep up with, cinematography scores good marks when compared to all other aspects. Little humor from Brahmanandam, Chandramohan, Ali and Jayasudha try to bring up come comedy onto the screen with their stints which has to be surely appreciated for.
What’s boring?
Deeksha seth has yet to learn much about expressions and performances, she seems to be present only to add glamour to the movie. Prakash Raj’s role does not portray as much as it is expected to being in the stance of negative role. The story seems to be dragged once the flash back has been revealed.
Actors:
Gopichand has had similar roles earlier so the performance can be said to be similar to the earlier ones with added humor lines in his scripts.
Like said earlier, Deeksha Seth has to take up some acting classes to improve her performance levels and also puts up a blank face at some scenes which require her to give appropriate expression.
Every other person in the movie like Prakash Raj, Nazar, Brahmanadam and Ali suit their roles though the only fault was with the writer who did make an effort to give better character to each of them.
Verdict
Wanted movie is like having a roller coaster ride taking people to peaks and dropping the story or comedy from there on. It is not up to the expectations but will do only for Gopichand’s fans and other can go for this at their risk
